This was the end of Jess and Dave’s wedding video. They chose “Come What May” as their highlight song, which had me reaching for the tissues! The expressions on Dave’s face, Dave’s mom’s expression as she walks down the isle, Jess dad’s comments at the end of the video - it all gave me goose bumps! A perfect summary of such a beautiful couple!
Avid outdoor enthuasiast and rock climber Brian Post is a celebrated photographer living here in the Mt. Washington Valley. I first met Brian about 8 years ago when he worked for the Mt. Washington Observatory as a Summit Observor. I would do a live call in for RSN TV and Brian would give us the low down on the days forecast. His landscape and scenic work from his time on top of “The Rockpile” is stunning. Back in the 35mm days I would assist Brian on occasion, and I think watching his style with photography had an impression on the way I developed my wedding video business. We’ve been on the wedding scene for quite some time together and it’s always a blast when we have the same bookings. These photos are from Cheryn + Mike’s wedding which I have yet to post on, but I do appreciate Brian allowing me to share to you, potential clients, who I am… I never have photos or posts of myself, but you may want to know who I am… don’t forget to pop over to Brian’s site if you are looking for a photographer!
These photos are from the Mt. Washington Hotel, 8/16/08: Brian captures the “View”Finder… Meg waiting for parent dances to start, Meg out on the Verandah capturing the view.
NH based Wedding Photographer Brian Post catches NH Wedding Videographer Meg Simone.
Ryan and Amanda had me a bit choked up before the ceremony. If you watch below, you’ll see why. I know when the big day is here there are so many little things to remember… like to write your vows but I feel lucky to have caught Amanda reciting them.
Meg,
I’m crying in my office right now…It’s weird, you are in such a daze on your wedding day. I do remember you coming into the bridal suite for a few minutes, but I had no idea that you were filming me during those moments (especially the emotional ones!). I’m glad I didn’t, I don’t look self-conscious or anything-all thanks to your unobtrusive style!
June 21, 2008: Amanda and Ryan had a picture perfect summer wedding weekend at the Mount Washington Hotel, in Bretton Woods, NH. The weather was ideal both Friday night for their Rehearsal Dinner Clambake at The Rocks and for their ceremony on the South Verandah. So many great details and moments from the wedding! I will start to post video clips now, so to kick it off - a funny line that the Best Man had during his speech… stay tuned for more…
ARCHIVE CLIP OF THE MONTH: It’s been fun to get comments on this video this month because of the 2008 Sunrise Tours the Auto Road has been running. This is last years video… Too bad I wasn’t filming in HD then… I guess another trip is in order. Lets get the hits up to 10,000!
June couples! I am editing all June videos! I will be in touch with updates.
We had so much fun with the friends and family of Kristy + Jason on 7/26! Not to mention a fabulous dinner at the Thompson House Eatery followed by an unreal selection of desserts! Kristy and Jason hired us for photo and video services. The photos are done the video is not. Here are a few quick shots of the vendors and the group.
I had the pleasure of working with Samantha Warren Weddings on 08.08.08 at the York Harbor Inn. If you are looking for a photographer run to the phone quick and give her a call! She is so fun to talk to and be around, your wedding party will love her, but also forget that she is there. Her photojournalistic approach to the day is unobtrusive and Sam captures “passion and personalities, instead of poses”. I love it! Sam is so easy to get along with and just plain fun. Have a quick feature look at Sam in action.
Kelly captured Molly walking down the isle and Matt’s first glance, which you can see is subtle but so powerful! (More sneak peaks for you Molly later….)
Molly and Matt escaped the threatening showers to have their wedding ceremony outside in the Grand Fountain Terrace at the Mountain View Grand, on June 28th. The coverage was provided by associates Chris + Kelly, and I was so excited to finally start working on such a unique celebration. In the next few days I will post more clips. The bridesmaids all had different dresses, color and style, and groomsmen ties and boutonnieres to match. Molly looked stunning…wait until you see her walk down the isle…. stay tuned!
