PROPS to Chris Proulx for his amazing job filming this incredible Red Sox celebration! It was SO much fun to edit!

Meg,

We absolutely have to get together for lunch or something! I have no idea how you pieced this together so perfectly without ever meeting David and me!

Without question … the best “investment” of our wedding day!  I had a very dear friend tell me shortly after we selected a wedding date to spend the money on a video.  I was hesitant at first wondering when I would actually sit down and watch it however I trusted her and decided to add it to the list.  Now I realize when the wedding is all said and done and the dress has been preserved, boxed and stowed away in the basement along with the 30+ centerpieces, leftover programs and favors all you have are your memories of the day and it is so important to have them captured forever.  Not to mention how incredibly fast the day goes by … before I knew it we were hopping in the boat and headed for our honeymoon island and it was over.  The video also showed me so much that I had missed.  Did you realize that during our rehearsal we figured there was room for only 66 chairs on the boat deck (I had 101 confirmed for the ceremony) … I had no idea how it came together but your video showed me that my brother and uncle made it all happen.  All I know is when I walked down the tiny aisle everyone was there and seated!

I don’t even know how to thank you for your efforts.  The editing, interviews, music … everything was perfect!  … right before our eyes on the Green Monster were our names and wedding date!  How cool was that?  We hadn’t even pushed “Play” yet.  We started the video and 10 seconds later started it again … was that really Babe Ruth … what?!?!?  How did they do that?  To say we were amazed would be the understatement of the year!  It was so incredible.  We had a very large guest list and wound up inviting over 300 people to our reception … only 100 people were actually witness to the ceremony!  I can’t wait to show this video off to the other 200!  What a treasure!

Thank you!

Red Sox Theme Wedding

by Meg on October 27, 2008

Less then 12 hours after I mailed out the biggest “Red Sox Theme Wedding” DVD ever (to Lori + David 8/23/08) I found myself at the biggest Yankees Theme wedding ever (10/25/08)! Don’t ever let these two couples meet!  Here are the opening credits - and incase you are interested the font that looks like the Red Sox is called “BoSox”. Andree Kehn was their photographer and she has some great shots on her blog of the wedding as well. I’ll be posting more clips as they are uploaded.  Chris Proulx did an awesome job filming this one which made it a blast to edit :) Lori and Dave hit a Grand Slam Home Run with the weather, their friends and family, details, and FUN! The wedding took place on Moosehead Lake, the ceremony on The Katahdin in the middle of the lake!

Mountain View Grand, Whitefield NH

Molly and Matt Celebrated with an amazing theme wedding at the Mountain View Grand in June!

Hi Meg,

I was just thinking of you! I was in New York over the weekend, showing off the wedding video, and everyone was so impressed with it. My friend Christina said she felt like she was watching a Hollywood movie. Every time I watch the video, I am thrilled again with what an amazing job you did. I think I could watch it at least once a day every day!

Thanks again,
Molly (Oct 22, 2008)

Hi Meg,
Last night Matt and I were finally able to sit down and watch the wedding dvd, and I can’t even tell you how thrilled we are with everything. We loved every second of it - from start to finish. It’s so great to be able to relive the day after the fact. There were so many things that Matt and I didn’t even see because we were so overwhelmed with everything going on.

The only thing that we said we would change would be if the dvd could be even longer, because we enjoyed watching it so much. I couldn’t ask for anything better.

Thank you so much, and we’ll talk soon!

They start off polite but pack a punch at the end! Modern Manners, a Cape Cod based cover band now in their 10th year together, put on a fabulous performance at the Mount Washington Resort for Cheryn + Mike’s 8/16/08 wedding. From a vendor to vendor standpoint, I felt they were extremely professional, really savvy about gauging the crowd dynamics (age ranges and music types) and from what you will see in the clip, they did a great job of keeping the guests out of their seats!

I’ve never seen a band close with such a high energy medly of Classic Rock (not 100% featured in this clip but  hope to post soon).

What a DAY! What a day! I had the ride of my life, thanks to friend and pilot Ned Sullivan. We went on a mission to photograph two estates for Badger Realty in North Conway, and while we were up…of course a few scenics! I will include our flight over Conway Lake, then OVER the Cold River Vodka potato fields in Maine, Evans Notch, and of course the notable Mount Washington Resort. It doesn’t get much better then this! Thank you Ned, thank you Badger Realty!

Allison’s Bridesmaids Want Her Back

by Meg on October 9, 2008

10/4/08:  An unbelievable day at the Waukewan Golf Club. Although I won’t be editing this video for awhile, I couldn’t resist putting up an UNEDITED clip of the girls SURPRISE performance for Allison. More in coming weeks, now back to editing August Weddings!
