June couples! I am editing all June videos! I will be in touch with updates.
We had so much fun with the friends and family of Kristy + Jason on 7/26! Not to mention a fabulous dinner at the Thompson House Eatery followed by an unreal selection of desserts! Kristy and Jason hired us for photo and video services. The photos are done the video is not. Here are a few quick shots of the vendors and the group.
I had the pleasure of working with Samantha Warren Weddings on 08.08.08 at the York Harbor Inn. If you are looking for a photographer run to the phone quick and give her a call! She is so fun to talk to and be around, your wedding party will love her, but also forget that she is there. Her photojournalistic approach to the day is unobtrusive and Sam captures “passion and personalities, instead of poses”. I love it! Sam is so easy to get along with and just plain fun. Have a quick feature look at Sam in action.
Kelly captured Molly walking down the isle and Matt’s first glance, which you can see is subtle but so powerful! (More sneak peaks for you Molly later….)
Molly and Matt escaped the threatening showers to have their wedding ceremony outside in the Grand Fountain Terrace at the Mountain View Grand, on June 28th. The coverage was provided by associates Chris + Kelly, and I was so excited to finally start working on such a unique celebration. In the next few days I will post more clips. The bridesmaids all had different dresses, color and style, and groomsmen ties and boutonnieres to match. Molly looked stunning…wait until you see her walk down the isle…. stay tuned!
Hi Meg!
In Steve’s words you “lit it up!”. I’ve already watched it a couple of times …amazing!! The whole beginning is so fun to see all the things we didn’t see ourselves- and all your scenery shots and everything are just perfect. You truly captured our entire day and all the people involved - you can feel the love in the air with everyone that was there! It is so so fun. We were so lucky to have found you and you have done an incredible job on this video. You brought all the emotion, laughter, fun, smiles, and few tears into this video. We couldn’t be more happy to have this now for the rest of our lives!
Thank you thank you!
Best,
Lani + Steve
I want to thank Samantha Warren Weddings for allowing me to share in this special day with Lani + Steve. Click on the link above to see photos from their wedding on Sam’s Blog. Sam you made a guest appearance in the video :)
Hi Meg-
I know that most (probably all) of your exchanges regarding our wedding have been with Lani and I wanted to weigh in with my appreciation of your work before too much time passed. Viewing the proof that you sent us left me speechless on more than one occasion. Not only was I choked up by reliving our wedding day and the emotions that came with that experience, I found myself at a loss for words because of your artistry and the passion that is evident in your work. The way in which you portrayed every aspect of our wedding day while tying in the challenging circumstances leading to my father’s unfortunate absence is incredible; I look forward to sharing the DVD you have created with my father when we visit him in Toronto. While I cannot speak for him, I do believe that you have done a great deal to make him feel as though he was just as much a part of our special day as were all of those in attendance. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Cheers,
Steve
Looking for that perfect quintessential wedding gift! I found it… today! I saw my friend Eric who reminded me of his business Card Cow!! For some reason it didn’t really hit me until NOW as I’m trying to figure out what to give a friend BINGO! Frame one of these original vintage (not reproduced last week to look old) post cards from a location of where the wedding is and vol-la! Great job collecting Eric! I’m keeping this in mind for future gifts! For example, the wedding I just shot Friday, 08.08.08 … Sam (Post Below) and I went down on the beach HERE (Same beach as in photo) to film/photo! So any guest at the wedding still looking for a gift! This is a cool idea! Images from CardCow.com
They do have images of the Mount Washington Hotel!! So future couples take note! Put one on your registry. That could be a fun image to frame and have your guests sign the photo matte…. hummm…
I don’t even know where to start with Lani + Steve: 08.08.08
I am left speechless after this post by their photographer, Samantha Warren Weddings. Amazing, talented, she captured this celebration with such an understanding for the circumstances. I was in tears when I saw the photos. Hats off to Sam Visit her site by clicking on the image below to read the full story and see more of her work. I will be posting video soon with permission from L + S.
I love keeping in touch with past clients so it was a huge treat to hear from Andrea + Jimmy who wed last Labor Day Weekend at Church Landing in Meredith, NH. I can’t believe that was a year ago! I just loved their wedding and the opening song they chose. Here’s to a year! Thanks for the continued compliments Andrea
An excerpt from her recent email:
“Everyone is STILL talking about our wedding!!! We feel like it was yesterday.”
…I believe you deserve the praise because you did an awesome job!”
I had to bow out of wedding commitments for Aug. 9+10 weekend (but did do a spectacular one on 8.8.08 at the York Harbor Inn) because my dad and my Uncle’s model cars from the 50’s and 60’s were on display at the MFA for a special exhibit on the Fisher Body Craftsman’s Guild! It’s not quite wedding material, but I wanted to post a few photos just in case a random groom perusing the web is also a car buff
Contestants constructed 1/12 scale, futuristic model “dream cars” from 1937 to 1968. The top scoring models won university scholarship trust funds for their creators, namely - teenage boys and college age young men. You can see a lot of the designs from yesteryear have made their way into the automotive industry over the last few decades. Many guildsmen went on to work in the automotive industry, design realm or skilled craft work. So much I could write, but I did get goosebumps and was so proud of my dad and uncle’s when I walked in and saw their cars on display!
I didn’t have a good camera - these were done “no flash” (museum policy) with a point and shoot so you won’t get all the detail I had hoped to capture. Click to see full size, then click that image again.

Congratulations Courtenay + Jeff. They were married on Thursday the 31st here in Jackson with a large reception on 8/2 at their home to follow. My focus is video, but do have requests for small ceremonies now and again.
The rain held off for a great outside ceremony behind the Wildcat Inn & Tavern, Jackson NH with Justice of the Peace Norman Head, also of Badger Realty. If you are looking to buy a home after you are married… let me know, I’ll put you in touch!
