Bill Lee - Digital Laundry

by Meg on July 29, 2008

I run into Bill Lee at the Post Office at least once every few weeks. His iPhone caught me on Scooter! Thanks Bill :) at apx 80-90mpg it’s a fun + affordable way to do quick errands! Bill is available for weddings and commercial work worldwide… I will be posting video clips of recent weddings this week - I’ve been swamped, so stay tuned and sorry for the delay - as you can see to the right, the summer wedding line up is huge! :)

Camp Huckins - Freedom NH: New Chapel Dedication

by Meg on July 27, 2008

Thanks to the generous donation from the family below (Stebbins?) Camp Huckins has a beautiful outdoor chapel for Vespers, Candlelight Ceremony, and more… possibly all these Nellie Girls will want to get married here? Now it’s a reality :) I had a blast seeing camp in action as it’s been 12 years since I was living there (and that was my summer home for 10 summers!) We got to go out on a boat ride to see the Chapel from the lake, I got to sing songs in the dining hall, and met up with some old camp friends to take our “outside area test” at the water front (must tread water for a Huckins Minute, 90 sec, with your hands above water). I had a blast and truly hope I can summer there again in the near future (between weddings of course!) Thanks Jody!

Archive Clip of the Month: Sunset Hill House - Sugar Hill NH

by Meg on July 22, 2008

I don’t even know where to start with blogging on my sisters wedding from this past weekend! I’m so overjoyed I’m going to procrastinate on positing about it!

I recently got an email from past client Hidee & Gil who were married 4.17.07 at the Sunset Hill House, Sugar Hill, NH so it jogged my memory and I thought I would do a quick inside peak at how they had their dining room set up. (Keep in mind I now film in HD and widescreen.)

The Castle in the Clouds - Perfect NH Wedding Venue!

by Meg on July 17, 2008

I’m off! It’s my sisters wedding weekend! Destination Castle in the Clouds! This photo below was them last year at John’s twin sisters wedding, I coin this “Your Turn”, I can’t believe it’s here! YIKES! I don’t even have my speech prepared! I talked with videographer Chris Proulx today who will be filming the event (some of you may have already had him at your wedding and some will be meeting him soon as he is filming quite a few this summer for & with me) Chris is great, and even though I kept saying “Don’t worry I’ll be there to help and will have all my back up cameras” he was adamant that I do NOT pick up any camera at the wedding! It’s tough when you are in the biz to be hands off! Lets see how I do… but more importantly lets have fun! I’ll  be back to the studio on Monday answering emails. I get to pick up the cupcakes for the rehearsal dinner from Sugarmaker Bakery on the way down… not good, they may not ALL make it  :)

Jackson NH Elopement Revealed

by Meg on July 16, 2008

I got the text message… the word is out :) I’m so excited that Sonja + Scott allowed me to share in their day (and their cake) as it was just the two of them…. both in the Military, they had never been to Jackson :) The staff at the Inn at Ellis River helped with details, and provided a wonderful sanctuary on the river for them to enjoy.

The ceremony was at Jackson Falls and they went to dinner at the Thompson House Eatery that night. We met the next day for photos and I felt so bad because Scott had an outfit all planned out and apparently there was a leaky Starbucks coffee cover that made a mess of his new button down shirt… so after the photo session they were heading back into town to purchase another :) Thank you both so much and I hope your plans for a spring celebration brings back fond memories when you see the video and photos of your time here in Jackson, NH.

**NOTE: I can do combo packages with video and photo and offer flat hourly rates for elopements.

NH wedding videos in the Mt. Washington Valley

by Meg on July 13, 2008

WOW… this has been a crazy summer as you can see by the line up of events to the Right. I filmed Mandy and Antti’s wedding last night at the Farm by the River BB on West Side Road in North Conway, now I’m off to my old summer stomping ground of 10 years (when I was younger), Camp Huckins! I’m photographing a dedication ceremony of the new Chapel! A few surprises for sure, and I have LOTS and lots to post on from the last 7 weddings, plus photos and now Camp, so stay tuned! I’m not asleep at the wheel, just very busy :)

Nestlenook 1920’s Wedding - Jackson NH

by Meg on July 6, 2008

I couldn’t sleep! I kept replaying the events of last night! This 1920’s theme wedding was OUT of this WORLD! I am so impressed with Sarah and Johnny’s talent to dance, and talented group of family and friends. The wedding was at the Nestlenook Inn, Jackson NH. We have lots of photos and video to come, but before I head out today I wanted to give a sneak peak at how great Beth from Sugarmaker Bakery did on the cake - it was just like the photo Sarah gave her! More to follow. Enjoying company in from CA today!

Jackson, NH - Elopement

by Meg on July 2, 2008

I LOVE my job! I got to spend Tuesday and Wednesday with _____ + _____ as they wed in a private ceremony *just the two of them, the JP and I* at Jackson Falls. I am itching to post photos, but possibly in a few weeks when family and friends have been notified. If anyone is considering an elopement in Jackson please give a jingle! I feel so honored to have been a part of this landmark day for them.  It’s so wild and spontaneous, yet romantic, private and special, that they let us (local Jacksonites) into their life for these few days to help make their experience a good one (they had never even been to Jackson, or NH!!). I hope we did a good job :)

They stayed at the Inn at Ellis River, and the staff helped with everything from picking up the Cake (yes, they had one, and even offered us all a piece! My favorite from Riverstones, Strawberry Grand Marnier!) to putting the dress on (since you would normally be alone). Thank you so much _____ + _____ and enjoy driving up Mt. Washington on your way home :)

Mountain Garden Club

by Meg on July 1, 2008

I was honored when the Mountain Garden Club asked me to take photos at their Annual Meeting. My grandmother was in Garden Club, so they thought it would be a nice connection to have me take the photo. I snapped a few, and of course got snapped too! Lunch was great, and this all took place at The Wentworth Inn, Jackson NH - a BEAUTIFUL venue for a wedding :)
