Alison and Duane lucked out with a fresh blanket of snow for their winter wedding 1/9/10 at New Hampshire’s Omni Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods. One of the most unique aspects about the day was that Alison’s dress was hand crafted by her relative from Montreal. I was curious to know the logistics of the dress fittings since Alison + Duane live in the Boston area. The story isn’t featured in the highlight, but it is on the couples edited DVD. Here is a one minute preview. More will be posted once they see it first
Christine and John scored a perfect late August day on Lake Winnipesaukee for their reception at Church Landing. It was one of the only Church ceremonies I had all summer, so I didn’t do any pre ceremony coverage of the girls getting ready. It was a treat to hear First Class Band again, which you hear in the intro singing “Let My Love”, and you can see a full performance in the 2nd clip. They are Boston based, but travel throughout New England. It was fun to see the day through the eyes of photographers emilie inc (and J) so definitely have look at her blog post and album design, here.
This is the Full Wedding Edit: Total time 36 minutes, broken up into two clips.

September 19th was definitely a winner all around for weddings in New England! Kelly was at the Castle in the Clouds with Rachel + Zach and I was with Jamie + Joe at the White Mountain Hotel. I have to admit I’m not one to listen to top hits because when I’m driving I either have NPR or XM on talk radio. It’s always SO much fun to have a spur of the moment dance party in the edit studio when wedding music is playing! So… lets Party In The USA! Congrats to Rachel + Zach! I hope this isn’t the last party – two sisters to go Happy Honeymoon!
Rachel + Zach: 9/19/09 Castle In The Clouds Preview
The day Erica + Rich stole can easily be summed up in the first 10 seconds of the video – simply perfect! You can’t get a better winter wedding day in the Mount Washington Valley. Some of the girls got their hair done at Debony’s in Jackson and the others at the Cut Off Salon and Day Spa in North Conway. The reception was at The Red Jacket, North Conway and photography by Anne Skidmore.
Although this is the wedding video open, I hope to have the highlight ending online soon because: “We absolutely love it!!! If I had to pick my favorite part it is the end, you did such an amazing job with the entire thing!!” – Erica
I’ve decided to be our local “Jackson Elopement Specialist” I just love LOVE to photograph or film them! A lot of people ask me, “What do you do for an elopement? Who is there?”
A: Usually it’s just me, the JP and the couple, witnesses are not needed in NH. Once the JP leaves it’s just the three of us. It’s so important you feel comfortable with the person you choose to take photos of your private ceremony. Usually most bookings are for an hour – with the ceremony lasting less then 15 minutes and then we head out around Jackson to capture some fun candids at the local landmarks. On a few occasions this year the couples had not really “experienced” Jackson, so I always offer the nickel tour and places to do photos – it works out great and the couples are psyched to have seen another part of quaint Jackson they may not have know was there On one occasion we met the day after to take some casual shots around town.
Meg is amazing!! She helped with a good portion of our planning, and was receptive to all our ideas. She has a great eye for photos that we will enjoy for the rest of our lives. I can’t say enough about how great she was. We HIGHLY recommend her!!! (Scott + Sonja, Elopement, 7/1/08)
Everyone we’ve shown pictures to thinks you are a phenominal photographer. I will definitely recommend you to everyone I know. Thanks again for everything – you’re the best. Lindsey (12/16/08 Elopement)

I just put Kate and Mikes 10/4 wedding proof video in the mail yesterday so they would have it in time for T-day… and despite the crazy snow and rain all day, the video arrived safe at Kate’s parents house. This was a wonderful email surprise to receive when the power came back on tonight Thank you Benoit’s! It was a true honor to be a part of the day
Meghan,
We’ve watched the video three times already. What a WONDERFUL job you did! We can’t even begin to imagine how many hours you must have spent editing it. So many delightful extras – the side-by-side shots, the music in the background (“My Cup Runneth Over”), the wonderful shots of the kids dancing…
Kate and Mike haven’t seen it yet, but have gotten lots of feedback.
They were so lucky to have found you! If you need us to give any
recommendations, put us on the list!!
Thank you for a job magnificently done!! (Mother of the Bride, Beth)
Kate & Mike's Fairy Tale Wedding Open at Church Landing
Less then 12 hours after I mailed out the biggest “Red Sox Theme Wedding” DVD ever (to Lori + David 8/23/08) I found myself at the biggest Yankees Theme wedding ever (10/25/08)! Don’t ever let these two couples meet! Here are the opening credits – and incase you are interested the font that looks like the Red Sox is called “BoSox”. Andree Kehn was their photographer and she has some great shots on her blog of the wedding as well. I’ll be posting more clips as they are uploaded. Chris Proulx did an awesome job filming this one which made it a blast to edit Lori and Dave hit a Grand Slam Home Run with the weather, their friends and family, details, and FUN! The wedding took place on Moosehead Lake, the ceremony on The Katahdin in the middle of the lake!
Molly and Matt Celebrated with an amazing theme wedding at the Mountain View Grand in June!
Hi Meg,
I was just thinking of you! I was in New York over the weekend, showing off the wedding video, and everyone was so impressed with it. My friend Christina said she felt like she was watching a Hollywood movie. Every time I watch the video, I am thrilled again with what an amazing job you did. I think I could watch it at least once a day every day!
Thanks again,
Molly (Oct 22, 2008)
Hi Meg,
Last night Matt and I were finally able to sit down and watch the wedding dvd, and I can’t even tell you how thrilled we are with everything. We loved every second of it – from start to finish. It’s so great to be able to relive the day after the fact. There were so many things that Matt and I didn’t even see because we were so overwhelmed with everything going on.
The only thing that we said we would change would be if the dvd could be even longer, because we enjoyed watching it so much. I couldn’t ask for anything better.
Jess and Dave were married at the Mount Washington Resort on 6/28/08. Here is a sneak peak at their wedding video open. I think the songs they chose combined with the footage made this a very powerful open, listen to Jess’ sound bites in the beginning
This was the end of Jess and Dave’s wedding video. They chose “Come What May” as their highlight song, which had me reaching for the tissues! The expressions on Dave’s face, Dave’s mom’s expression as she walks down the isle, Jess dad’s comments at the end of the video – it all gave me goose bumps! A perfect summary of such a beautiful couple!
Ryan and Amanda had me a bit choked up before the ceremony. If you watch below, you’ll see why. I know when the big day is here there are so many little things to remember… like to write your vows but I feel lucky to have caught Amanda reciting them.
Meg,
I’m crying in my office right now…It’s weird, you are in such a daze on your wedding day. I do remember you coming into the bridal suite for a few minutes, but I had no idea that you were filming me during those moments (especially the emotional ones!). I’m glad I didn’t, I don’t look self-conscious or anything-all thanks to your unobtrusive style!
Hi Meg!
In Steve’s words you “lit it up!”. I’ve already watched it a couple of times …amazing!! The whole beginning is so fun to see all the things we didn’t see ourselves- and all your scenery shots and everything are just perfect. You truly captured our entire day and all the people involved – you can feel the love in the air with everyone that was there! It is so so fun. We were so lucky to have found you and you have done an incredible job on this video. You brought all the emotion, laughter, fun, smiles, and few tears into this video. We couldn’t be more happy to have this now for the rest of our lives!
Thank you thank you!
Best,
Lani + Steve
I want to thank Samantha Warren Weddings for allowing me to share in this special day with Lani + Steve. Click on the link above to see photos from their wedding on Sam’s Blog. Sam you made a guest appearance in the video
Hi Meg-
I know that most (probably all) of your exchanges regarding our wedding have been with Lani and I wanted to weigh in with my appreciation of your work before too much time passed. Viewing the proof that you sent us left me speechless on more than one occasion. Not only was I choked up by reliving our wedding day and the emotions that came with that experience, I found myself at a loss for words because of your artistry and the passion that is evident in your work. The way in which you portrayed every aspect of our wedding day while tying in the challenging circumstances leading to my father’s unfortunate absence is incredible; I look forward to sharing the DVD you have created with my father when we visit him in Toronto. While I cannot speak for him, I do believe that you have done a great deal to make him feel as though he was just as much a part of our special day as were all of those in attendance. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Cheers,
Steve
